Boston Family Photographer | Mother and Son

Remember this beautiful Boston maternity portrait session?  This little guy arrived earlier than expected to a joyful family and a very excited big sister.  Once she got over the fact that she didn't get a little sister that is.

I spend a quiet rainy afternoon with mother and son at their home to capture the two of them.  I love the connection present in the images, the smiles and the loving touches that show their growing bond.

Weather is one reason you might choose to book your family portrait session at your home.  If you'd like to do a shoot at your home, we can!  You choose the time and the location that works for your family.  For home sessions, we shoot in a way that frames the action, and your family, within the context of your family home.

For very young nursing children, who aren't yet on a schedule, having the flexibility and comfort of being in your own home is wonderful.

Welcome to earth, Lewis!  We are so happy to meet you!

Boston Family Photography .:. 6 months old

Baby cheek heaven.  Yesterday, Ezra, his mom and I went to Walden pond for the first official swim of summer and it was then that I realized I had never posted our sixth month session.  And here he is already nearly 9 months old.
Here's a few portraits of this handsome young man from our ongoing series of Ezra.

Boston Family Photography .:. Jim Croce Returns!

Here is your typical two year old birthday portrait: with mustache, sideburns and guitar.
As it happens, this little guy's dad has some crazy ideas.  And he has the courage to execute them.   The orange shirt is before the transition into Jim Croce.  Happy birthday!

Boston Family Portraits .:. Afternoon in Arlington

A few gems from a set of Boston family portraits I shot last fall at the Arlington Reservoir Beach.
Yeah.  So this kid is pretty adorable, right? And he lives with a pet cat and a helper monkey (who wasn't in the pictures, unfortunately). Oh, and two loving and terrific parents too.

I giggle every time I see this mischievous face.

Boston Family Portrait .:. Brothers and Dog

These two brothers came to the park for a portrait session with their mom and their dog. The bog brother enjoyed playing.  His little brother enjoyed some snuggles with his mom.
